Grace's Story

Grace needs 8 units of blood every 3-4 weeks to treat her sickle cell anemia. So far, she’s received more than 500 units of blood. Because of passionate blood drive coordinators like you, she’s able to enjoy a better quality of life while she searches for a cure. After years of not finding a match on the bone marrow registry, Grace was recently accepted into a gene therapy trial, which could potentially cure her sickle cell anemia.  
 
Your work recruiting donors and providing them a convenient, frequent place to donate helps patients like Grace every day. If you haven't scheduled your next blood drive yet, please contact your Donor Recruitment Representative.  Because of you, life doesn’t stop.
