No matter your experience or education, if you are a caring person with a willingness to learn and a desire to create comfortable, convenient, and consistent blood donation experiences for our donor volunteers, we’ll teach you everything you need to know to get started as a phlebotomist. Because you may need to travel up to 300 miles one way for a blood drive, start and end times may vary from day to day, so flexibility and open availability are the keys to success on our Mobile Phlebotomy team.
If you're excited to support donors, patients, and hospitals while enjoying diverse responsibilities—including therapeutic apheresis and stem cell collection—Vitalant is the place to advance your nursing career. Here, you'll work with healthy donors, providing crucial assistance to donation center staff, and play a vital role in collecting blood for research and clinical trials. From preparing granulocyte donors for patients with low white blood cell counts to administering innovative immunotherapy treatments for cancer patients, your contribution will be multifaceted and deeply rewarding.
I enjoy making sure each individual donor who walks in the door has a donation experience that supersedes their expectations, so they have no second thoughts about making a return appointment.
