ABOUT THE DRIVE

The Bucket Brigade Challenge, now in its 18th season, is a friendly competition among participating fire departments in Sonoma, Lake and Mendocino counites to see which department can host the largest blood drive and win the Bucket Trophy. Firefighters, friends, family and the community come together to donate lifesaving blood during the holiday season, when blood donations dip.

I wish I could tell my donor how grateful I am for your selfless act. You may have wondered what became of your donation. Well, it saved my life.

Ann, Blood Recipient
