Our healthcare systems rely heavily on communities to generously donate blood. However, there are many reasons why a person cannot or will not donate his or her blood. Vitalant Foundation offers these individuals and other community benefactors an alternative way of supporting this critical healthcare need. Your financial donation directly impacts the lives of patients in need of blood.

Monetary gifts aren’t the only way to help Vitalant Foundation. Individuals, small businesses and corporations can provide resources, volunteers, and goods in-kind to benefit our mission including involvement in Foundation events.
Bequests are donations given through a living trust or will. You can designate Vitalant Foundation as your beneficiary in a will or estate for a specific amount or designate Vitalant Foundation as your beneficiary in a life insurance policy. Vitalant Foundation recommends consulting an attorney before drafting a will.
Vitalant Foundation must be named as the owner and beneficiary of the insurance policy for it to be tax-deductible.
