Vitalant, one of the nation's largest nonprofit blood and biotherapies service providers, is pleased to share the promotion of Rob Van Tuyle to the position of president and chief operating officer. In this expanded role, Van Tuyle is responsible for stewarding and deploying Vitalant’s organizational strategy to fulfill its lifesaving mission.
Van Tuyle previously served as chief operating officer, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership and a deep commitment to the organization’s success. He spearheaded significant improvements in operational efficiency and played a crucial role in expanding Vitalant's biotherapies services.

As president and COO, Van Tuyle will oversee all aspects of Vitalant’s operations, including blood services, biotherapies, laboratory and clinical services, information technology, supply chain, and marketing and sales.
