Give 4+ Blood Donations in 2023 and Get This Cool Quarter-Zip Pullover

Your blood donations can help reduce complications when patients receive ongoing blood transfusions for sickle cell disease.

Every time you donate blood, you help ensure it’s at the hospital, ready and waiting, when sickle cell patients need it most. You can give blood every 56 days, up to 6 times a year.

Will you commit to giving 4 or more blood donations this year?

1. Give 4 or more blood donations with Vitalant from Jan. 1-Dec. 31, 2023.
2. In January 2024, you’ll receive an email with instructions on how to claim your quarter-zip pullover.
3. Wear your exclusive Vitalant pullover with pride!

Important information about the 2023 quarter-zip pullover:

• Only blood donations will count toward the required 4 or more donations to qualify for the 2023 quarter-zip pullover thank-you gift. If at any time a donor gives a Power Red donation, they will still qualify if they have given 2 additional whole blood donations in 2023. If a donor gives Power Red 2 times in 2023, they will receive the quarter-zip pullover.
• Once you hit 4 or more blood donations in 2023, you’ll receive a congratulations email from us. We encourage you to keep giving throughout the rest of the year.
• An email on how to redeem your pullover will be sent in January 2024.
• Qualifying donors will have the opportunity to select their preferred size (small-3XL) when instructions are sent by email in January 2024.
• After donor selects the preferred size, the pullover will be sent to the mailing address provided through the redemption website and will arrive in approximately 1-2 weeks.
• Limit of 1 quarter-zip pullover per donor.
• Donors will also receive 200 recognition points for each blood donation, which can be redeemed for thank-you gifts anytime! Confirm membership in our donor recognition program by logging into your donor portal account. Learn more about the Vitalant donor recognition program.

Helpful Tip: You can schedule several blood donations at one time. Simply make sure to schedule each donation at least 56 days from the last donation.

*Presenting donors who come in to give four (4) or more blood donations during the promotional time frame (Jan. 1-Dec. 31, 2023) are eligible ONLY if they provide their email address to enable redemption. Email instructions will be sent to qualifying donors in January 2024 on how to claim the pullover. Limit one (1) pullover per blood donor, while supplies last. Pullovers will NOT be handed out at the donation center.
