Saving lives just got easier with the new Vitalant mobile app. Donors can make and manage blood donation appointments, access donation history and wellness information all at their fingertips. All donors who download and use the app in May to schedule their next appointment will be entered to win one of five, $500 prepaid gift cards. Learn more and download the app at vitalant.org/app.
The new features of the app include an interactive map showing all nearby donation opportunities. Donors also have easy access to track their health history and to pull up their donor I.D. card, and the new, Community feature allows donors to create or join a Team to help rally friends, family, colleagues or any group of their choosing and see how their combined efforts add up to make a difference in the community.
“Blood donors are absolutely necessary to ensuring a safe and ready blood supply and we recognize their time is valuable,” said Cliff Numark, Vitalant senior vice president. “The new app is one more way Vitalant is striving to make blood donation easy and convenient.”
Another feature is donors can enable push notifications including a reminder to complete their Fast Track Health History the same day as their appointment.

Masks are optional for staff, donors and visitors except where required by local regulations or blood drive host.
